Chateau Meillac, located in the town of St Romain la Virvée, Fronsac. It is a small estate producing a concentrated but smooth wine in the Bordeaux traditional way. The Meillac is their “lighter” early drinking style with a balanced use of oak.
Very deep black color. The nose is complex, fragrances of “small ripe black fruit”, mixed with licorice. The flesh is round with silky tannins, a good length in the mouth.
